Cook Public Library will be bringing author Shelley Shepard Gray to Waynesville, Ohio at the Quaker Heights Care Community on Tuesday, May 10 at 6 pm.  Shelly is beloved for writing inspirational Amish Romances for Avon Inspire and historical romances as Shelley Gray for Harper Collins Christian Publishing. Booksellers from Books ‘N’ More in Wilmington will be on hand to sell Shelley’s books on site.  Invite all your friends for a wonderful evening out with this delightful author . . .

There is a group of talented ladies in the Waynesville area that create beautiful dolls based on characters in books. We are fortunate to have some of these dolls for display at the library. We have MP3 players available for check out. There are some preloaded songs and audiobooks on them. Learn to borrow and download MP3 audiobooks from Overdrive. Overdrive has a large collection of audiobooks for you to choose from, and if you need assistance, we will be glad to help. You can also load your own songs or playlists to enjoy. The MP3 players check out for 2 weeks and are available to all patrons old enough to operate them.
