Many of the movies we purchase come with a free digital copy. To make use of those copies, we have purchased a Roku and loaded the movies into a Vudu account . . .
Patrons may borrow the Roku for access to the library's Vudu account, currently with over 40 movies that can be streamed on the Roku device using the internet. The Roku also offers the Roku channel, the vudu channel, I Heart Radio, and Sony Crackle. To use the Roku, you must have a TV with an HDMI port, broadband internet, and a router. Movies available are subject to change, as we add new ones, and older titles may expire. To check availability or to place a hold, click here. In order to borrow the Roku, you must be aged 18 or older and have a Mary L. Cook Public Library card in good standing. The Roku checks out for 1 week.
